The Llandoger Trow is a fantastic looking building which dates from 1664. It is said to be the inspiration for the Admiral Benbow in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island and according to tradition, this is where Daniel Defoe met his Robinson Crusoe, Alexander Selkirk.

Reputed to be haunted by the spirit of a little boy who wears leg braces (that can be heard as he walks around the building), also by a female prostitue on the main staircase, as well as a murderer in the cellar.
